Mission Green Delhi as its name indicates was initiated as environmental information and story sharing blog in 2009, which now has grown up into an active community of more than 400 environmentalists and nature lovers. Mission Green Delhi community has delivered several environment awareness talks in Delhi NCR known as MGD Green talks and workshops on terrace gardening and waste management. Some of the top environmentalists like Pravin Mishra, Anubha Jain and Raju Minhas are contributors in Mission Green Delhi community. The man behind Mission Green Delhi is Puneet Verma who is a green enthusiast and his active efforts in this field has received many accolades including Airothon Warrior by Indian Pollution Control Association.
